Job Summary:
The Contracts Manager is responsible building strong relationships with external customers and working closely with internal stakeholders and company leadership to drive success in our Contracts Department by writing, reviewing, negotiating, and tracking company agreements including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and contracts.  The Contracts Manager is responsible for the entire contract lifecycle from supporting proposals through close out documentation. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Drafting, negotiating, interpreting, and managing complex contractual agreements to include Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and FFP, T&M, and Cost Reimbursable contracts
  • Interpreting and evaluating terms and conditions, assessing risks to the company and communicating findings to management
  • Issuing requests for proposal and drafting and negotiating subcontracts, to include flow down terms and conditions
  • Submitting timely and accurate reports such Contractor Manpower Reporting and Subcontracting Reports
  • Responding to requests for information from the US Government including contract audits, CPARS, BOA sales, etc.
  • Communicating with finance and accounting to ensure billing accuracy
  • Working closely with program managers to ensure compliance with contract requirements and successful contract completion
  • Maintaining shared files and databases with contract documents and correspondence

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years’ experience in drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts with the Department of Defense and other US Government customers and prime contractors
  • FAR and DFARS knowledge
  • The ability to obtain a US Security clearance
  • Proficient user of modern digital office tools
  • The ability to work independently and as party of a team
  • The ability to write formal business correspondence
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, engagement, and diplomacy skills

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
